The Blue Diamond Growers Visitors Center is the largest almond processing plant in the world, and is one of the many free things to visit in Sacramento. The visitor center offers visitors the chance to taste almonds. Visitors will also be able to watch a 20-minute video about the history of the visitor center.
The Historic City Cemetery is free to visit and is the resting place for more than 20,000 Sacramentans. There are dozens of gorgeous statues located throughout the cemetery. There is also a big outdoor museum located within the cemetery. The City Cemetery is also the oldest cemetery in all of Sacramento.
Old Sacramento is a national landmark that sits on 28-acres. Old Sacramento is also a state park with many wonders located within, such as very old buildings, memorials, a museum and even riverboats.
